How to Book

  • Sea World Helicopter tickets (referred to as ‘Flight Vouchers’) must be purchased online through the VRTP Inbound Ticketing Online System (ITOS) self-service portal. These tickets do not guarantee a specific time or date for the flight.

  • Direct purchases and service vouchers will not be accepted by Sea World Helicopters.

  • Payment is required at the time of booking.

  • To check availability and book a flight, contact Sea World Helicopters directly after purchasing the ‘Flight Voucher’ by quoting your ‘Booking Reference Number’:

  • Tickets are required for all passengers aged 2 years and above.

  • Bookings must be made in advance via email.

  • Bookings will not be processed without a valid ‘Flight Voucher’ and ‘Booking Reference Number,’ which can be found on your barcoded ticket.

  • Passengers must present valid barcoded ticket(s) at check-in before boarding.

  • Passengers arriving with a valid barcoded ticket but without a pre-arranged flight time may experience delays or the possibility of not being able to board the flight, with no refund provided.

 

Terms and Conditions

 

Flight Policy

  • Inbound groups booking in advance must finalize their bookings at least 48 hours before the flight.

  • In accordance with CASA regulations, weight restrictions apply. A minimum number of passengers is required for flights to depart.

  • Seating is allocated by Sea World Helicopters staff based on weight and balance criteria for each flight.

  • Each flight can accommodate a maximum of 6 passengers, subject to age, size, and weight.

  • Passengers not entering Sea World Theme Park should arrive at the terminal located on the western side of the car park at least 15 minutes prior to the flight.

  • Passengers within Sea World Theme Park must check in at the Helicopter Ticket Office at least 15 minutes prior to their flight.

  • All passengers must review and comply with the safety and dangerous goods requirements before boarding. Lockers are provided for storing large personal items during the flight. Lockers must be cleared after the flight.

  • Guests with disabilities should contact Sea World Helicopters directly to discuss suitable flight options.

  • Flight availability, departure times, passenger numbers, and other relevant conditions may be subject to change without notice.

  • Flight paths and journey times may vary depending on weather conditions and air traffic control.

  • The ‘Pilot in Command,’ as authorized by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, has the discretion to refuse to carry any person.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • All Sea World Helicopter tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, with sufficient notice, funds may be credited back to your VRTP ITOS portal or account for future bookings.

 

Pre-booked Flights

  • Flight bookings can be amended with 72 hours’ prior notice in writing to Sea World Helicopters.

  • No-shows or passengers who fail to notify Sea World Helicopters of cancellation will be charged the full contract rate.

  • If Sea World Helicopters cancels a flight due to weather or any other Force Majeure event, passengers will be offered an alternative flight time. If an agreement cannot be reached, funds will be credited back to your ITOS portal or account for future bookings, subject to approval.

  • Rates are charged per seat/passenger unless a ‘Group Flight Voucher’ is purchased.

  • Rates are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST.

  • Nett Rates and tickets are valid from 01 April 2026 – 31 March 2027 and are exclusively available for international inbound travelers. Any tickets used outside this period will be deemed void.

  • Helicopter flight bookings and barcoded tickets cannot be resold and are not redeemable for cash.

  • Village Roadshow Theme Parks and Sea World Helicopters reserve the right to change rates and/or terms and conditions without notice.

 

Conditions of Entry:

  • All guests agree to comply with the Conditions of Entry available at https://seaworldhelicopters.com.au/conditions-of-entry/ and any other conditions displayed at the gate or premises. Sea World Helicopters may cancel or suspend any purchased product or remove guests from the premises if these Terms & Conditions are breached.

 

Sea World Helicopters is an independent professional operator, and is separate to Village Roadshow Theme Parks (VRTP) who operates Sea World.
